19th c. Undergarments

You can find loads of additional information about my current set of Victorian undies in my bustle dress diary, but here's a quick recap of the most interesting features. The corset pattern was taken from an 1868 pattent diagram for the Lavinia H. Foy corset. I decided to make it out of teal silk twill with white silk decorative flossing after falling in love with this colored corset that has very similar lines. My combinations, striped silk bustle, and petticoat are made from modified versions of the patterns in Period Costumes for Stage and Screen: 1800-1909.
