4th Annual Georgian Picnic

This past Saturday, the DFWCG hosted my favorite event of the year - our Georgian Picnic.  I'm having a hard time putting into words exactly how amazing this event was, so I'm just going to let some of my favorite the pictures do most of the talking.

Okay, I could keep going and going, but I'll just point you to my flickr album if you'd like to see more.  Many thanks to Christopher, Cynthia, and Maggie for letting me use several of their pics.  I'll be back to talk more about my new dress later this week.

Hope to see you at next year's Georgian Picnic!

Goodness, another Wow! of a picnic. You all do it up right. Are my eyes misgiving me, or is that the Aristocat, all the way from Finland, in the black riding habit?

Very best,

Natalie

Oh these are wonderful! You look like you had such fun, and it's grand to see these outfits as they might actually have been worn. Thanks so much for showing us.

Wonderful pictures of wonderful gowns! Thank you for brightening my day with them.

I don't remember seeing your blue gown before--did you do a page about it on your blog?

Natalie - yes, that's The Aristocat! We are SOOOOOOOO excited that she decided to join us this year!

Cathy - I'll add an entry about my dress in the next few days. :)

The orange spencer looks very familiar - is that yours borrowed, or did someone else make one just like yours??

Jen Thompson said...

Sarah - yes, that's my spencer! I let my BFF Christy borrow it for the event since she didn't have time to make anything new. :)

I plan to visit this place to explore and compare strategies for managing stress in self and others. Being a strategist isn't easy, and discovering effective approaches to stress management is crucial. Excited to gain insights and enhance my skills in this area

The Annual Georgian Picnic is a festive yearly gathering, much like the IPL auction 2024, where people celebrate with good food and traditional Georgian festivities. Both events create a joyful and communal experience.

A Georgian picnic offers a delightful culinary experience, and it's fantastic to see the inclusion of Gluten Free Food options. This ensures everyone can enjoy the rich flavors and traditional dishes without dietary concerns, making the gathering both inclusive and memorable.
